Phototherapy

The BiliCocoon™ System is a phototherapy system designed for the treatment of non-conjugated hyperbilirubinaemia in infants. The BiliCocoon™ phototherapy system consists of an electronic blue light generator – the light box – and a light-emitting fabric – the cushion – that transmits the blue light to the infant. The light box and pad are paired to emit light with a peak between 430 and 490 nm and a spectral irradiance of 35 μW∙cm-².
A key advantage of the Bilicocoon therapy system is its large radiating surface, which surrounds the infant 360 degrees, making the therapy highly effective. The device is easy to use for staff and parents alike. It can also be used in the clinic or at home.
