Description
Interdental areas are often difficult to clean as toothbrush bristles cannot reach them, leading to easy plaque accumulation. Dentists recommend cleaning interdental spaces 1-2 times a day.
Usage: Pull about 40cm of dental floss and wrap both ends around your index fingers. Clean all interdental spaces by guiding the floss between teeth and moving it back and forth and up and down. The floss should be moved gently between teeth to avoid damaging the gums. After flossing, it is recommended to rinse your mouth.
Xylitol’s role in oral hygiene
An important part of oral hygiene is the removal of dental plaque from teeth. Xylitol reduces plaque by lowering bacterial levels and thus supports overall oral hygiene (4).
