Instructions for Use:
1. Measure the patient from shoulder to chin, keeping the head in a neutral position. Position the head in a neutral or “eyes forward” orientation.
2. Select the appropriate collar size for the patient.
3. Adjust the cervical collar and chin support.
4. Secure the sides by pressing the two locking tabs.
5. Pre-form the neck collar.
6. Apply the collar, holding the head in a neutral position with your hands. Place the chin support under the chin. If a different size is needed, remove the collar, adjust the size and reapply. Pull the collar around the neck, ensuring a snug fit while holding the front in place, then tighten.
7. For patients in a supine position, slide the back panel behind the neck before placing the chin support.
Warnings:
• Incorrect use may cause injury or permanent disability.
• Use the correct size neck brace. A neck brace that is too large may extend beyond the patient’s cervical spine. A neck brace that is too small may not provide sufficient stability.
• Do not adjust the collar while it is on the patient.
