Usage:
Thoroughly clean the thermometer before and after use (see cleaning instructions).
Shake down the thermometer until the scale is between 35 °C and 36 °C.
Select the mode (oral, axillary, or rectal) and perform the measurement according to the instructions. Be sure to measure for at least 4 minutes to avoid errors.
The measured temperature can be read from the scale.
Oral Measurement – Place the thermometer under the tongue, with the tip in the “heat pocket.” Keep your mouth closed for about four minutes. Do not speak during measurement. The normal temperature when measuring with this method is 37.0 °C.
Axillary Measurement – Carefully place the thermometer in the armpit and ensure the arm is pressed tightly against the body. Hold the thermometer in the armpit for about 4 minutes. The normal temperature when measuring with this method is 36.5 °C.
Rectal Measurement – Thoroughly clean the thermometer and insert it into the rectum approximately 1 cm deep. Hold the thermometer for about 4 minutes. The normal temperature when measuring with this method is 37.6 °C.
Cleaning and Disinfection:
The thermometer is hermetically sealed glass, allowing the use of all common disinfectants. The temperature must not exceed 42 °C during cleaning, and cleaning must not cause excessive mechanical stress to the thermometer, which could lead to glass breakage. The thermometer can be cleaned with a dry cloth, and for sterilization, the thermometer head can be rinsed with ethanol and then with cold soapy water.
In case of thermometer glass breakage, the particles can be swept up and disposed of with general waste, as they are non-toxic.
Note:
- The thermometer is not shock-resistant.
- Do not bend, bite, or otherwise mechanically damage the device.
- Do not sterilize the device by boiling.
- Do not store the device in direct sunlight or at high temperatures.
- Wait at least half an hour after eating, smoking, showering, or bathing before taking your temperature.
Warranty
The thermometer has an unlimited warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing defects that appear during normal use. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use.
