Description

Interdental areas are often difficult to clean as toothbrush bristles cannot reach them, leading to easy plaque accumulation. Dentists recommend cleaning interdental spaces 1-2 times a day.

Usage: Pull out about 40cm of floss and wrap both ends around your index fingers. Clean all interdental spaces by guiding the floss between teeth and moving it back and forth, and up and down. While expanding floss is softer in the mouth, it should still be moved gently in the interdental spaces to avoid damaging the gums. It is recommended to rinse your mouth after flossing.

Xylitol’s role in oral hygiene
An important part of oral hygiene is the removal of dental plaque from teeth. Xylitol reduces plaque by lowering bacterial levels and thus supports overall oral hygiene (4).
